Brief Answer:
High eosinophil count can occur in severe cold. Wait and watch.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Common cold usually occurs due to certain viral infections and are generally associated with an allergic reaction. This allergic component is mediated by eosinophils and it is not unusual for the eosinophil count to rise. Indeed in the case of your daughter the absolute eosinophil count is quite high but I would really not panic about it. She needs to be given Montair LC Kid (monteleulast + levocetirizine) and you should talk to your doctor about the prescription of the same. I would not consider it to be an alarming state. I would suggest you to give steam inhalation and to wait for a week of so. Repeat the blood counts after around 2 weeks from now and if the eosinophil count has still not subsided, chances are that she has a worm infestation and needs deworming. Do not arrive at conclusions right now. Just wait and watch.

Brief Answer:
Reports still not attached.

Detailed Answer:
I waited for sometime but still do not see the report attached. I would request you to kindly reattach. If that does not help, please get in touch with the customer care.

I would definitely check the reports when they are available, but a clinical examination is much important but that is beyond scope. Hence I would insist you to attach the doctor's notes if they are available.
