Is Exposure To High Concentrations Of Floor Cleaning Solution Dangerous?

Question: Last night I maybe foolishly made a 50/50 solution of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and 5% Vinegar to clean. I sprayed it all over my bedroom saturating everything. Bed, floors, fan, tables, everything. I then read that in higher concentrations the combination can be quite harmful. I have a wife, 1 year old, and two dogs and am terrified to let them back in that room. I opened the french doors and windows to outside and turned the fan on. I let it air our for about two hours before closing back up and then didn't let them back in until morning. Would that combination at those concentrations be a huge concern or am I worrying about nothing?

Brief Answer:
It's risky period is over and is now safe to go in after good ventilation

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to Health Care Magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, you escaped the riskier part and that was to mix them both as it can create concentrated mixture which can be caustic as well as tendency to be explosive on minor heats.

Though these both mix to form per-acetic acid and is a natural disinfectant and good alternate to chlorinated disinfectants but they have to be used separately and both should mix on the surface of object in small amount to cause disinfectant action.

Since you have well ventilated the room and area, and most of that does evaporate and gets ventilated so it will be safe. For further caution or reassurance you can again put on exhaust on for few hours to let the air pass in and out for a while and then room can.be used safely.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
