Question : Is fibromyalgia progressive?
Brief Answer:
Fbromyalgia is not progressive!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this fibromyalgia that you have. As of date, the medical community has not really understood the disease process characterizing fibromyalgia. There are periods of flares and remission which do not necessarily mean the disease is progressing. Fibromyalgia generally is not a progressive condition but one with on and off periods which differ in disease severity.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
