Question : Hello, I am on the second day of taking a taper pack of Prednisolone (for a swollen foot after foot surgery) and my face is on fire and flushed, is that normal? Thank you!
Brief Answer:
Mostly a side effect of prednisolone
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible effect of prednisolone.
It is not really common in all patients.
But it is one of the least worrisome side effect.
However, have your blood pressure and sugars tested.
If they are fine, you can relax.
Else ask the doctor to change the dose of the medicine.
Hope that helps you.
Best of luck and HAve a quick recovery.
