Question : Can you tell me if it is normal for a man to get up twice in the night to urinate.
Brief Answer:
Get Check for Prostate issues.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
See without any disease it is normal to go for urination twice in night.
However we should always rule out prostate issues at your age that could be one of the cause.
So you should get your Ultrasound prostate done to check for the prostate size.
Another point I would like to mention here that if your blood pressure medicine contains a diuretic and in case you are taking it at night then it might be the cause.
So, check for the mentioned possibilities and if found normal then this could be a normal response of your body.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
