Question : Hi,
I had an echocardiogram back in January. I was told at the end that the results will go to my doctor. I didn't hear anything from my doctor regarding the results even though I visited twice (I didn't ask about the results either though). 3 months have passed and I have now received a letter asking me to book a ct coranary angiogram at a private hospital and also had a further appointment booked to see my cardiologist in August. Does this sound serious? I'm a fit 24 year old on the whole but I'm slightly concerned I've been asked back as I only went in for tests originally with anxiety.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I've read your query and understood your concerns.
This doesn't seem serious to me. There may be many reasons for CT-cardiac angio. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have a serious problem.
You should contact your doctor straightaway and ask him about cardiac echo results proper and the reasons behind cardiac CT angiography.
Hope this will be of help!
Let me know if there's any further doubts..
