Question: I have Chrone's disease. Can the disease be fatal? Under what conditions would it be fatal?

Brief Answer: Severe complications of Crohn's disease. Detailed Answer: Hi, Having Crohn's disease is associated with periods of improvement of the symptoms following by periods of aggravation. If this disease is properly treated and followed up, then, there is less chances to get severe complications. With regards to complications, they include: - toxic Megacolon - intestinal perforation - severe bleeding which appear only in severe cases.
