Question : I had a fast heart rate this morning about 105 bpm. I was extremely anxious when I woke up and this has made it worse. it has since gone down to 75 bpm. I am really worried about what it could be thank you
Brief Answer:
Anxiety is the cause!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Anxiety is the cause of this increased heart rate. That is the more reason why it has returned to normal as you have calmed down. Don not be worried about your heart at this time. If we must address this, we would rather be treating the anxiety and not a heart problem because your heart certainly has no issue. It just reacted to the anxiety attack and shows that it is in good state and able to work good.
I wish you well.
