Question : I have been advised to undergo open heart surgery. I am reluctant because of my age, 80 and the fact that this is a very invasive operation. Your take on this. Thank you. XXXX

I read your question and i understand your concern. Age of course is a limiting factor in procedures like this, but if you're cardiologists have advised an open heart surgery i am sure they have correlated the odds and balanced pros and cons. And if still they think its surgery the best option then i would advise to trust them. You are in safe hands.
