Brief Answer:
Slightly deranged parameters

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pulse rate of more than100 bpm is higher than normal and SpO2 is slightly on lower side.
I will suggest you to consult your treating OBGYN specialist to examine her properly and give appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.

Hello doc
Sorry I am again bothering you.
We did the hcg test today and the value came as 1306. On 18th it was 380.2
She is still struggling with ohss. Her girth is around 97 today.
Bp 118, 87
Spo2 94 95%
Pulse 100
Weight is reduced from 67.5 to 66.6

I want to know whether she needs to continue her medication that was given during ivf.?? Ambani hospital said just to take folic acid tabs.
I am attaching you the prescription from ivf clinic. Clinic Doc insist of taking these Meds,  but we both are very reluctant to take these and need advice whether it's really needed after hcg test.

Please advice

Brief Answer:
Folic acid only

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Since her blood pressure, pulse rate, SpO 2 and abdominal girth are improving, that means that the OHSS is settling.
In this scenario, she doesn't need to take any medications apart from folic acid tablet.
The prescription is not uploaded, so kindly upload it again.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Susten can be taken

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
She can continue Susten injection along with folic acid, as it is progesterone which makes the uterine environment more favourable for the fetus.
Rest all medicines are not needed at this stage.

Answered by Dr. Deepti Verma (4 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
OHSS will gradually resolve, don't worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
OHSS will gradually resolve.
Increasing hCG levels are due to pregnancy, not due to OHSS.
Once a viable pregnancy is there, hCG levels increase by more than double in every48 hours.
I suggest you to be patient and support your wife emotionally, explaining her that she will gradually tide over this situation.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
