Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

Having a recent blood transfusion is the cause of changes in your blood tests ad following :

- hemoglobin is within normal range
- trans ferritin level of 2.5 is considered low indicating that your iron levels are still low
- saturation level is also low which is also showing low iron levels
- ferritin level of 542 is considered high due to blood transfusion. While the other parameters are low showing not enough iron circulating in the body

You should take iron supplements and eat iron fortified foods.

Now with your readings, I need to have your previous blood test results for a comparison and more specific opinion.

As I was viewing your other posts in hcm, I noted that your hemoglobin level wad low with a history of rectal bleeding. You have done upper and lower endoscopy with normal results. You need to evaluate small bowel disease too with further tests like:
- capsule endoscopy or
- Ct-scan

Let me know if you need further assistance.
