Question : 16 Year patient, diagnosed of Having Peripheral spondyloarthritis. His HLAB27 is positive. Patient was advise for Injection Intracept 50mg s/c, weekly for 12 weeks as slow improvement in symtom . Can Injection Intracept 50mg given on OPD basis, or it require daycare hospitalization ? Is injection require medical supervision?

Well, this injection doesn't require admission unless you are claiming from insurance. If not insurance you can take it in on OPD basis as well.
For first Injection, we suggest to take it in the hospital under supervision, so incase of any reaction it can be tackled. I normally give it in Opd and ask the patient to wait for 30 minutes
From 2nd injection it can be taken at home itself
