Question : Hi doc the baby 20 day old is waking up after every 1 hour is everything fine with tht behaviour. we are feeding her up everytime with mothers milk. please let me know how long this will continue
Brief Answer:
No need to worry. It will be normal by 4 months of age
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
If baby is active, warm, pink; accepting feeds well, passing urine at least 5-6 times/days and passing stool then there is no need to worry. In neonates this behavior is usual. Check the nappy if baby cries ,feed him adequately with proper burping. Baby's sleep cycle usually get adjusted to day-night rhythm by 3-4 months of age. So need to worry.
Thanking you
