Question: should i see the Dr again about this staph infection because i only have one day left of doxycycline?

Hello,

I've seen this photo and the previous one (the one you've sent 5 days ago). The recent photo looks better but there's still redness and some swelling (at least it seems to be). Photographs can be misleading in such cases though. Clinical examination cannot be substituted.

Signs that ongoing inflammation is there include redness, swelling and increased temperature locally. Fever (even low-grade) means systemic involvement (more serious infection). I would advise against stopping doxycycline. You should see your doctor for a closer look at the lesion.
