Question : I inhaled pure bleach fumes while cleaning/disinfecting mouse droppings from our enclosed crawl space. I presently have a minor cough. Should I be worried of permanent respiratory damage?

You have to be concerned only if cough persists beyond few weeks.

Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
No I do not think you have a cause to worry. The cough should go away in a few days time. Do you have any allergy or asthma issues? Taking an anti allergy like a montair lc may help if you suffer from allergies.
If the cough persists beyond say 1 to 2 weeks you may have to get a chest xray done and consult your PCP. He can then examine you in detail and advise you accordingly.
