Question : when heating a room with kerosean and a toddler is in the room , how dangerous is it, I notice that the inside of his nose is black when I clean it, but he has no problem breathing or anything. I stop using the heater for the safety of the baby...

Hello. I just read through your question.
I agree, that it's a good idea to stop using a kerosene heater. The black stuff jn the nose is the most important clue. Even though the breathing seems comfortable, enough dirty air is getting into the lings to potentially cause illness. You are correct for stopping it's use.
