                                    Brief Answer:
Do blood test, can have irregular cycles
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns..
The answers to your questions:
1. You can repeat a urine pregnancy test after few days. Blood tests ( HCG test) is available to confirm pregnancy.
2. Duphastone will only cause a withdrawal bleeding. So you can still have irregular periods while on Duphastone if ovulation is not taking place properly or if you are pregnant.
Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

                                    Brief Answer:
it depends on the cause of irregular cycles
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Welcome back.
The treatment depends on the cause of irregular cycles.
For example :
Polycystic ovaries - Metformin and oral contraceptives
Obesity- Diet and exercise, Metformin
Hormomal imbalance like high prolactin and under functioning thyroid needs hormonal treatment.
If there are no cause - cyclical hormonal treatment or cyclical Duphastone can regularise the cycles. After treatment for 6-12months you can stop this medications following which you can conceive naturally or with the help of ovulation induction medicines.
Hope this will help you.
