Question : Shooting pain in calf and ankle. Pain gradually increasing since last 2 weeks. In extreme pain, not able to walk/sit at all. The pain is not subsiding despite the current medications. I have written down the MRI findings in the chatbox below. Please help with the diagnosis and next steps.

Hello mam,
You are having a displaced disc which is compressing the nerve resulting in the pain, go with a caudal block which will be given by a orthopedician or a anaesthetist followed by rest and gradual physiotherapy and medication.
This will resolve your problem.
