Question : I am on 5mg Norvasc have been taking in am (86old female) ply gol 3 times week. lose concentration get very tired about 1100 til 0300, can I take at night? Also get slight swelling and pain in left ankle.

First of all you can take safely Norvasc (amlodipin) 5 mg at nigh in order to avoid the mentioned unwanted effects.

Secondly you mentioned a slight swelling and pain in left ankle, but this isn't related to Norvasc (amlodipin). Norvasc use is associated with a bilateral painless swelling.

I recommend to consult a rheumatologist to esclude rheumatismal causes (gout, podagra, rheumatoid arthritis ect.)
