Question : I have severe acidity for 3 years now. Had a pylokit dose in 2012 and was relieved for 7/8 months. No other medicine ever worked. Can I take pylokit again now ?

Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Pylokit contains Proton pump inhibitor lazoperazole and antibiotics tinidazole & clarithromycin. Antibiotics are required only if you have H pylori bacteria in stomach. A urea breath test will help you to know whether it is present. If positive then can take it.

If it is not positive just therapy with proton pump inhibitor like lanzoperazole will help.
