Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering concerns today.
The recommended dose of Vitamin B6 for nausea during pregnancy is 25 mg three times a day. So take it in this dose.
Nausea is part of normal pregnancy. It settles down as the pregnancy grows. Almost all women are relieved of nausea by three months of pregnancy. So don't worry.
I am writing few tips that you can follow to reduce nausea.
1.Eat bland non fatty and non spicy food, like toast, bread, dry biscuits. Eat what appeals to you.
2.Have frequent meals in small quantities. Don't drink water immediately after eating food. Wait for half hour and drink. Drink water frequently in small quantities. Don't drink at once.
3. Avoid any food that triggers nausea
4. When you wake up in the morning, don't stand up immediately. First sit down for some time.
5. If not relieved by above measures try using ginger 1gm daily either in food or as capsules.
6. Any stress physical/emotional further increases nausea. So take care and avoid undue stress.
I hope I have answered your concerns. If you have any further queries, do contact me through Healthcare magic.
Enjoy your pregnancy.
