Brief Answer:
Definitely NOT OK to smoke...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

There are no real benefits from smoking even if it is at moderation / single cigarette in a day. On an average every cigarette reduces 6-10 minutes of life expectancy. Current stats indicates that every 1 in 5 deaths that occur is directly or indirectly related to smoking.

Besides lowering life expectancy it is one of the primary causes of heart attack, strokes and cancer. These are high morbid condition that can lead to serious health complications if not death. It also lowers lung capacity to inhale to its fullest leading to complications such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Trust me COPD is not an easy condition to live with.

I am happy that you are actively exercising. However with every smoking in your life style, the exercise will not serve your purpose.

I will strongly urge you to quit smoking at the earliest.

Hope this answered your question.

Regards
