Brief Answer:
Fresh one is more better

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

As you told, amla/gooseberry are rich source of vitamins and minerals.
But, fresh one is better in quality than salted one.

The reasons are:
1)Most of the vitamins contained in such veges are water soluble. So a major portion will be dissolved in water, thus making salted ones with lesser content.
2)It is always better to avoid intake of added salts beyond a limit. This will give over work to our kidneys and may predispose to hypertension, and will affect our fluid-electrolyte balance adversely.
3)Pregnancy is condition that predispose to gastric upset.
Salted foods will add up to this.

Anyhow, if she is much fond of, there is no much harm in taking, like once a day.

Hope I have answered your questions.
Wishing you and family good health always,
Thank you.
