Brief Answer:
It is advisable to monitor side effects of long term testosterone therapy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been taking injectable Testosterone yourself since a long time .

It is absolutely necessary that one has to monitor his testosterone levels frequently while on replacement therapy .
Second aspect is exogenous Testosterone therapy has got its own side effect of developing cancer of the prostate and more in elderly patients hence it is always advisable to take it under the guidance and supervision of qualified Physician or Urologist.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
