Question : My pain started in the scrotom and went to the lower abdominum. I have a low grade fever and can't sleep.
Should I go to the emergency room?

I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. As the ultrasound of scrotum is normal, need to look for other non-scrotal causes.
2. Obstruction, commonly of the intestines, or possible hernia, requires evaluation.
3. Ultrasound of the abdomen is of foremost importance now.
4. Due to inflammation, low-grade fever is present. Pain is affecting the sleep.

Nothing wrong in getting an ultrasound done. Possibly early period, if evaluated now, serious complications of bowel infarction can be avoided.

Meet your doctor and get an ultrasound of abdomen at the earliest.
