Question : Hi My newborn (Born the 24th) opens his one eye more than the other. It is like he prefers to have only the left eye Open. Is this normal
Brief Answer:
It is not normal unless the right eye lids have sticky discharge
Detailed Answer:
Hi... opening only one eye is not normal. If there's a sticky discharge in the right eye, it's understandable. But if nothing like that is present, them I suggest you consult your pediatrician to rule out -
1. Congenital ptosis of right upper eyelid.
2. Facial nerve neuropathy.
