Brief Answer:
Diet is overall fine.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that for a baby of this age, it is normal to pass stool several times a day or even after each feed. Alternatively the child may pass stool once in 10 days and that is normal too. It is also normal to pass green stool or a combination of yellow stool. The green colour occurs due to rapid transit through large intestine where the bile pigments do not get adequate time to convert to the yellow colour of stool. It is OK for the stool to contain partially undigested parts of what has been fed earlier. But in that case it would be advisable to go step by step. You can start with thick liquids like dal water or fruit juices, gradually move over to semi-solids or mashed foods, and subsequently start with pounded food. Consider your ABCs - applesauce, bananas, and cereal (rice, biscuits dipped in milk, or roti, or ragi softened with milk/water). Boil rice and dal with vegetables (khichdi) and give in mashed form. Gradually increase the amount and frequency. Introduce one new food item per week and stick to it at least for the week. Feel free to continue with the items that you have already introduced.

No other changes needed.

Feel free to write back.

Brief Answer:
Glad to be of service

Detailed Answer:
No restriction on the brand of biscuits. You can use any. You can give curd in the afternoon and that would not cause any problems. Give small amounts of water after feeds to quench thirst. If more amounts of water is given, it will unnecessarily take up more stomach space and impede the intake of nutritive foods.
