Question : Hello Doctor,
I have had unprotected sex and took ipill within 48 hours.Then again it happened and i took the second one within 36 hours.my periods were due on 19th august.But i have not had them until now.So i took a home pregnancy test.It showed a dark pink line with a faded am having all the symptoms of PMS though like stomach pain,body pain etc.I do not want this pregnancy.Please suggest.

With a faint positive pregnancy test the only medicines that can cause periods is abortion causing pills. But you need to confirm the pregnancy first and rule out an ectopic pregnancy. You will have to get a blood test and ultrasound scan done for that. Pills can be prescribed only after a proper diagnosis.
