Question : is it normal to have a stringy blood in a 2 year olds poo?.

                                    Hi XXXXXX,
Welcome to healthcare magic!
I would like to inform you the blood in the stool is abnormal in all age groups.
The baby might be having some abdominal problem like infection or worm infestation.
The rectal polyps are also a fairly common cause of blood in stools in babies.
Please review to a pediatrician or a surgeon to get the baby examined.
You should also get the stool examined as soon as possible.
I think the advise would be helpful for you.
I wish the baby a great health.

Do you think this could happen if the child is constipated for a day?.

                                    Hi XXXXXX,
Welcome back to healthcare magic Physician's desk!
It is highly unlikely to result from one days constipation.
Babies have an elastic tissue structure and would not suffer a rectal bleed even in 3-4 days constipation if there is everything normal other wise.
You should get the child examined in person.
I think the advise would be helpful for you.
If you still have queries if any, please feel free to communicate back.
