Question : hello doctor,,,my name is XXXXXXX .
doctor i had my period last at 23 july to 27 july,,,after that i had sex on 29 and 30th july...and i took unwanted 72 on 30th evening...
from 6 aug to 10 aug i bleed....from 10 to 14 there was clots..
bt 15th evening i again bleed.....is it normal???
should i consult a doctor..plz tell

Thanks for the query.
Intermittent bleeding taking place after consumption of emergency contraceptive pills is not uncommon.
There is nothing to get alarmed over it,however if you find that you are developing heavy bleeding accompanied by abdominal pain,pelvic pain,dizziness or lightheadedness,then it would be better to consult a gynecologist and get yourself evaluated.
At the moment ,wait for couple of days more and see how the bleeding is taking place.
In my opinion,it should gradually stop.

hello doctor,
doctor,,i m suffering with only bleeding,,there is no pain...
but my urine is yellow....
i want to know that when will my next period take place,,,
my expect date was 20 august....

Hello,
A yellow urine is very common in summers and is generally due to concentrated urine.
As far as periods are concerned...
They may come a few days earlier,on time or may come a week later.
It is also quite possible that the bleeding you had from 10th to 15 th could be your periods as it is not possible for one to differentiate between breakthrough bleeding caused by the drug and your periods.
Just wait and watch.
If you don't get your periods by 30th of this month,then get the urine and blood test for pregnancy done.
An absent pregnancy would reassure you that there is nothing to worry and bleeding which took place fromm10th to 15th was your periods.
It is very possible for your periods to get disturbed for a period or two after taking unwanted 72.

doctor i took it first time..
due to heavy bleeding..i am feeling weak..
plz tell me what diet should i take for overcome with this weakness,,
doctor,,will it not effect me in my further conceiving???

Hello,
Let me assure you that there won't be any problem in conceiving in future.
It is normal for your hormonal system to get disturbed after taking emergency contraceptive pills.
Just don't worry about anything.
As far as weakness is concerned,take ..
plenty of oral fluids like juices,coconut water,lemon water etc.
fresh fruits and green vegetables.
almonds and walnuts.
Take some iron preparation like FESOVIT or DEXORANGE for 3-4 weeks.
Take adequate rest for few days.
Sleep well.
Your weakness shall go away Gradually.
