Is It Normal To Have Feeling Of Discharge From My Penis?

Question: Hello,
I have a feeling of discharge from my penis but when I check there is nothing there. I have recently finished a course of amoxicillin so am sure I don't have any infections.
I wondered if it was just in my mind, or if you had any suggestions.
There is no burning or discomfort when urinating or masturbating just the feeling of discharge a few times a day but like I say there is nothing there. Can you recommend anything.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Young fellow,
Thanks for sending the important details.
After analyzing the points let me reassure you that there is no any pathological change or any kind of ailment in your case. In most of Sexually transmitted diseases we find either redness or discharge or ulcers and bumps as important findings. In your case we are not able to find any such findings making your case quite simply related to your own perception regarding possibility of any Sexually transmitted diseases despite having unprotected sex.
You should know the fact that our penile skin is the thinnest skin on the body. It is such a thin skin that even the blood vessels are directly visible over it. Now if there is mild irritation or abnormal feeling then it can be just a hygiene related feature. To explain you medically and scientifically- The thinnest skin of the body over glans is also sensitive to the friction plus the chemicals, soaps and even touching of garments in day to day life. All these factors also lead to the kind of problem which you are facing.
Mild to moderate redness is quite common in this area because of the friction during sexual intercourse or due to masturbation also. Even the condoms are known to produce kind of irritation or discharge like feeling because of the rubber content as well as certain chemicals on the condoms as lubricants and as fragrance.
I suggest you to clean the genital area 2 times thoroughly and gently by retracting your prepuce completely backwards. This will reduce the present symptoms as well as help us in future also. Lastly kindly reassure yourself for this simple problem of perception.
I hope these information's will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.
"Wish you good health"
