Question : My wife is having hair fall problem from the past 15 months and reason stated by our elders is it is normal to have hair fall problem after having a baby. Now our daughter is 15 months old but still the problem continuing with much increased consequences.
Can you please suggest me what best can be done to rectify the problem?

Thanks for posting your querry.
As your elders pointed out hair fall after delivery is called as telogen effluvium. It disappears in six months.if not
We must rule out
1. Anemia
2. Hypothyroidism
You can do the following tests
1. Thyroid profile
2. Serum ferritin level
If there is deficiency it can be rectified
Please cosult nearest dermatologist or trichologist for help.
Meanwhile good food with XXXXXXX proteins and XXXXXXX leafy vegetables will help her
