is it normal for a kid of 11 years to get menstruation (bleeding) for more than 1 months?

Hi,

It is normal for the children to get bleeding more than a month after attaining menarche. Bleeding is initially excessive and prolonged. Later cycles after about 6 months generally regularise themselves.

If bleeding is very heavy you can get progesterone tablets prescribed which will help to stop bleeding.

Give her normal food that you cook at home in normal quantity. Just avoid fat and sugar in excess.
