Question : I used to hear a voice right before a grand mal seizure. They used to happen right before I fell asleep. Is this common?

It is common to have features like hearing voices,feeling odd taste sensations etc just before a seizure attack.This is what we call ''aura''.This usually indicates temporal lobe origin of the epileptic focus.This need not be worried in particular.
