Question : I have had ear pain on both sides for 3 weeks Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here. Ear pain both sides for 3 weeks but now my tight ear really hurts. My dr. Said they were not infected and that a nerve was probably pressing on.my ear drum and she could do nothing. Is this possible?
Brief Answer:
Possible Infection or ear wax
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can certainly understand your concern
As per your symptoms the possibility of ear Infection or ear wax is very high. Nerve compression is very unlikely.
It's important to get an otoscopic examination
( microscopic view) of your ear canal at the earliest. Consultation with an Otolaryngologist is mandatory.
A short course of oral analgesics and antibiotics will be helpful.
Post your further queries if any
Thank you
