Question : Is it possible for a pathologist to detect EBV after a person has died? If so for how long and how is it detected?

Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but yes EBV can be detected after death through an autopsy. It can be detected either by FISH technique or serology but PCR remains the most accurate test..
