Question : Is it possible to catch an STD from a sex toy? I have not shared any sex toys but after using one the first time i do feel some irritation in my private area.

Yes, sex toys can spread STDs provided they are used by one infected very recently (few minutes to few hours only).

If its not been used by any, then the chances of getting an STD are negligible.

The irritation in your private could be due to mechanical injury. Need not worry this will heal on its own or with mild antibacterial creams.
