Is It Possible To Develop Tolerance To Xanax?

Question : I have been on xanax xr for 10 years. It does not seem to work like it did could my bOdy have become immune to it. And is this dangerous to keep on taking it this long.

When a person develops tolerance to a medication, it means that they need more and more of it for the same effect to occur.

It is possible that you have developed tolerance to the xanax and this is why you are not seeing much effect.

Normally because the tolerance and risk of dependence on this type of medication, it is not advisable for it to be used for such a long period of time.
