Brief Answer: Wait and watch Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing in XXXXXXX There is nothing to be worried about as the mole has been already shaved. The reason for delay in reporting you can be due to increased work load at doctors office or at pathologist's place. The possibility of mole having malignancy is more if there is irregular border ,change in size shape or color over time, ,Scaliness,Itching,Spreading of pigment from the mole into the surrounding skin oozing or bleeding. If there is nothing of that sort in your case then mole is benign. Waiting for the report can make a person anxious sometimes. You can inquire about the report at the doctor office. Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.
