Question: Today, I received my blood test results back and they are below the things that concerned me. Everything else that goes along with the component that is not listed was normal. I need to know what I need to do to get into optimial health at this point or do I need medication etc? I'm 55 years old and going through menopause that is driving me crazy. My doctor recommended that I start taking the Combipatch for the hot flashes etc. What do you think? Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and have reviewed your reports .

As per your reports You have low MCH and low MCV levels which usually occur as a result of iron deficiency that has led to anemia .

I recommend you to add more iron and vitamin B6 to your diet. Eating vitamin C and fiber, along with foods that contain iron, may also help increase the MCH and MCV levels.

For higher cholesterol levels I would suggest you to have fat free diet and do cardiac exercise like aerobics and brisk walking.

Avoid all kind of junk, fatty, spicy ,packed foods.

As you are still prediabetic so follow antidiabetic diet and exercise which will help you to maintain your sugar levels.

For hot flushes you should try using the combipatch, if in case you have any adverse effect then kindly discuss with your physician.

Hope this helps
Let me know if I can assist you further..
Take care.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale.

Thanks for your response. How long does it take for the CombiPatch to start working? If I do have any negative side effects to the patch, how long will it take for it to get out of my system once I remove it? Also, should I take a Vitamin B complex pill daily? I am prediabetic but I do take Mounjaro Pen Injection 2.5 mg once a week. The nausea is starting to bother me since I just started 5.0 mg once a week now? What prescription can I take for the nausea?

Do you have any recommendations for me in regards ton weight loss? I'm 5'0 feet tall and weigh 161.

Thanks, again...

Hello,

Thank you for reverting back..

Combipatch will take atleast 1 to 2 weeks to show it's result..

Side effects as following symptoms may occur like,
trouble breathing, swelling,
shortness of breath, cold sweat, confusion, headache etc.

The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your doctor know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.

Symptoms will go away within a week as soon as you discontinue the patch.

For nausea you can take Tab ondem .

For weight loss kindly follow fibre diet, avoid all fatty and junk food, drink lots of water, do regular physical exercise.

Hope this helps,
