Question : I applied Permethrin 5% last night to my whole body. I understand I need to take a shower to wash it off. Confused about applying to my hair...... after I shampoo and then apply and LEAVE ON?
Put me on Predinose 40gr for 5 days.... followed my 20gr. for 5 days.

Brief Answer:
apply when scalp dry, leave 8 to 12 hours then wash off, careful of eyes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The creams is applied when the skin is cool and dry so after your shampoo, when your scalp has dried , you can apply it.

It would be washed off using the same time frame as when applied to the rest of the body ( 8 to 12 hours).

The itching can sometimes continue up to 4 weeks after treatment has been initiated so if this occurs, it is not because the infection has not resolved.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
