Question : I am on Gabapentin and Prozac to reduce severe obsessive compulsive disorder and severe anxiety associated with it. In your opinion is it safe to be on Gabapentin and Prozac indefinately.

Gabapentin and Prozac are quite safe drugs. But every drug has its side effects. The common side effects of these are nausea, vomiting, weight gain, and decreased libido in the long run.

But if your OCD and anxiety are crippling, these drugs can be taken for a long time.

You can go for CBT sessions along with these medications.
