Question : Hallo sir i am a case of non TB bacterium and i underwent myomectomy ,on ATT now i am comleting three months course whether can i become pregnant now or not ?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Please complete full course of ATT. Usually multi drug therapy is for 6 months.Also you will be on follow up to check for sputum AFB Negative smears . Once 3 consecutive smears are negative then you can consider pregnancy.
You should also check your hemoglobin and thyroid levels. Take folic Acid 5 mg daily for atleast 3 months before conception and multivitamins to improve hemoglobin levels.hope this was helpful
