Question : My father has been prescribed to Penecillin (Cuprimine 250mg). Is it okay to start the medication. Regards, XXXX

Penicillamine is a copper chelater used in condition in which high levels of copper in the body cause damage to the liver, brain, and other organs. It is also used in other conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and kidney stones. Kindly do mention the cause for which he is being placed on the above medications. regards,
