Question : Hi Doctor, You had responded to my previous query regarding my travel abroad (while I am trying to conceive) I have another question in the same context Me and my husband occasionally go out for drinks and dinner. Should I stop drinking alcohol altogether right away? or I can still have a couple of drinks We have been trying to conceive since last month. Please advise Regards, XXXXXXX

Hence, we advise pregnant women to avoid alcohol in any form or quantity. At the least, a glass of red wine occasionally should do no harm to the baby. Hope this answers your query.
