Yes, there are some minor interactions that expected to occur when Ambien (Zolpidem) and Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) are consumed together. This combination causes side effects, some of the commonly encountered ones are Anxiety, fever, breathlessness, diarrhoea, Vomiting, joint pains, pneumonia, fatigue etc

The side effects are not serious, but can be encountered frequently with the combination. Do discuss with your treating doctor about the same and get your medications revised.
