Question : Kidpred along with monticope for eight months kid suffering from cold and cough. Is it OK.

Hi,
For simple cold and cough kidpred which is prednisolone is not needed.
It might have been prescribed for wheezing .
Jut check with your doctor.
Fr wheezing a sort course for 5 days is OK
.
Monteleukast may help in allergic rthinitis but not in viral cold!
It can be given for a 8 month old ----- the dose will be 4 mgs once a day
