Question : I normally take 40 units of Levemir twice a day I forgot to take my love XXXXXXX this morning and my blood sugar is almost 500 my brother uses Humalog 7525 and I wanted to take a dose of that to get my blood sugar down how much should I take

Good day,
Noted your concern. In your situation, we must check urine for ketones. It is not legal to prescribe medicines online. However, i must say that, Humalog is better than Humalogmix25/75 in your situation to reduce blood sugars. If that is not available, you may use a small dose ( 10 units) of Humalogmix25/75. Recheck sugars after 2 hours and if still high, please visit a hospital and check urine for ketones,
