Question : i am taking rcinex 600/300 ,combutol 1 gm, pyridoxine 10mg and this is my last month of the 9 month course.This month i found that i am pregnant.will these medicines affect my baby?

Following is my reply:

1) These drugs are likely to affect your baby and hence I suggest you to stop these drugs immediately.

2) There is no need to terminate the pregnancy. Continue the pregnancy.

3) Get regular ultrasound scan done at 12 weeks and 20 weeks to check for any abnormalities. If everything is normal, you can go ahead and deliver a healthy baby.
