Question : Hi just want to know if it's XXXXXXX to have an implanon for more than 3 years & especially after a hysterectomy?

Hi
The main indication of Implanon is Contraception.
So,after hysterectomy,there is no need for contraception .
It should be removed at the end of 3rd year.
As there is no role of Implanon after hysterectomy,it is better to remove it
